The ALTI Transition is a class Leading unmanned VTOL hybrid aircraft, developed as an ultra compact, efficient and affordable fixed wing system with the ability to take-off and land vertically, almost anywhere. With endurance of up to 12 hours and unmatched real world performance, the Transition is leading the next generation of advanced unmanned aircraft, taking our clients further than ever possible before.

 

Various Transition builds are available, airframe only to complete ready to fly systems. Our flagship long endurance fuel powered Transition ‘F’ is configured to our client’s exact specifications, including advanced ground control systems, image sensors, payloads, custom integration, training and technical support.

 

The Transition is made from the highest-grade materials, to the highest standards, using unique propitiatory techniques. A highly advanced aerodynamic design allows for low stall speeds, efficient cruise with very low drag, excellent stability and an incredibly low weight at only 5.6kg for the entire airframe.

Endurance

 

AeroScope 2 is a comprehensive drone detection platform that rapidly identifies UAV communication links, gathering information such as flight status, paths, and other information in real-time. This monitoring data stream helps users make an informed response as soon as possible.

Low weight

 

These features and design values allow for an incredibly low weight system with only 5.6kg for the entire airframe and a maximum take-off weight of only 16kg.

Compatibility

 

The payload bay can be tailored to fit and mount a wide range of cameras, sensors and other equipment, the system offers great flexibility without limiting the operator or mission scope.

Ease of use

 

Featuring a 3m dihedral wingspan, aerodynamic winglets and boom-mounted inverted U-shaped empennage, meticulously designed for efficient prolonged flights, offering complete ease of use.

Fast installation

 

The airframe is completely modular and can be rapidly deployed from in the case to in the air in under 10 minutes with only two operators required, this along with zero need for a runway or heavy and expensive catapult systems.

Vertical take-off

 

The incorporation of VTOL technology into the fixed wing system allows the Transition to take-off and land in confined spaces in a very short time, offering massive advantages over traditional systems as well as a lower impact and stress on the aircraft with long term use.

The Transition is designed to be rapidly deployed, from in the case to in the air under 10 minutes with only two operators, including fueling, setup and mission planning.

 

The airframe is assembled without the use of any tools and fits tightly and securely into a high quality transport and storage case using the best quality impact and flame resistant foam, which also houses all other parts, batteries, spares and accessories required.

ALTI Transition autopilot

The ALTI autopilot was developed from the ground up as an advanced VTOL flight controller specifically tailored for the Transition aircraft system. The lack of commercially available VTOL supported autopilots lead ALTI to design, develop and manufacture our very own, high quality, reliable and sophisticated autopilot with features not found on other systems.

Thousands of hours have been invested in development and testing with a focus on stability and reliability. The flight controller manages every aspect of the mission autonomously. From takeoff, right through to landing as well as all transitions between muitirotor and fixed-wing flight modes leaving you to focus on the job at hand.

The ALTI autopilot

A wide range of safety features have been built into the flight controller that auto-detect sensor failure detection and failover.

Flight envelope failures such as stalls, excessive roll/ pitch, motor failure, etcU+002 will be detected with an auto-failover to multirotor mode for fast recoveries. Other Autopilots options are also available.

Data Telemetry and Control Links

The Transition comes completely ready to fly with a ground control station, including a control link, an advanced digital datalink for aircraft data as well as video along with a Laptop PC station and a travel case.
